Ford raptor tonneau cover forum. The dealership said its the cover that gets the least complaints, especially about water leaking. I am leaning towards the retrax powerpro mx tonneau cover as i like the automatic retraction and it appears to get good reviews. When not hauling the yak, the tonneau will be on, and stay on, as i can put groceries in the front and back seats. Hope ford offers the option to be able to install and connect it to the battery. I ordered the gatortrax mx tonneau cover. My biggest issue with hard tonneau covers is hauling things that don't fit under the cover. I have had the hard roll cover (cost 1500) the vinyl on the top started to come loose and it fell apart (5 years old) have had the soft fold tonneau now on my 2018, easy to remove for total bed use and it fits in the back.

Ford makes it difficult to attach the aluminum cover rails to to the truck because of the plastic side rail caps coming down in front of the metal flange. I doubt we will be hauling too much in the bed to be honest. My preference would be to get the tonneau thru ford/local dealer so that if there is a problem down the line, it can be addressed locally under the accessory warranty. There is an air gap here so the clamps cannot get a good grip.

2017+ ford f250/350/450 bakflip mx4 tonneau cover. Other wise the tailgate would pinch the rubber end piece of the tonneau cover instead the rubber peice overlaying on top of the tailgate to let water roll off instead of into the bed. I like my access limited tonneau a lot.

Also, i have to imagine there are better options than the three or so ford has on. I used to the points from ford pass that i got from getting the truck to knock about 350 off the price.
